Game Editor
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This policy applies to Game Editor, a visual 2.5D game creation platform developed by André Luiz Nogueira, and the sample game published with it.
The editor does not send your projects to the developer and does not require its own account. In the browser, automatic recovery is stored locally and saving downloads a file to your device. The VPS-hosted test version requires authentication before it opens.
Projects and files
Your projects may contain names, text, images, audio, scenes and other information you add. In the browser, you open a project file you select; the editor saves by downloading the file to your device. Automatic recovery stores project copies and their assets in the browser’s IndexedDB so you can recover changes after a failure.
On Windows, projects are saved to a location you choose and recovery data stays in the app’s local storage. The editor does not send projects or their assets to the website server. Delete recovery data in the editor or clear the site/browser’s local data to remove local copies. Files you downloaded or saved yourself must be deleted separately.
Authentication and Web hosting
The VPS-hosted test version requires a username and password to access the editor and sample player. The server checks authentication before serving the pages; the editor does not create a user profile or use these credentials to identify projects. The connection uses HTTPS.
The server processes technical information needed to authenticate, deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, time, requested path and browser details, and keeps access logs for operations and security. These logs do not include the contents of projects stored in your browser unless you send that content through another channel.
Sample game
The sample game runs in your browser. Preferences and local progress it creates stay in browser storage; they are not sent to the editor or developer. Clearing the site’s data may erase this information.
No usage analytics or ads
The editor and sample game do not include ads, advertising trackers, usage analytics or automatic diagnostic report uploads.
Other games made with the platform
Creators can export and distribute games on their own. How an exported game handles data depends on the content, services and integrations its creator includes; this policy covers the editor and official sample, not third-party projects.
Retention and deletion
Recovery copies remain in browser or app storage until you delete them in the editor, clear local data, or they are replaced by newer recovery data. We do not keep copies of your projects on the server. Website access logs are stored separately for operations and security.
